Other club members are also now getting keen, Ben Bradstock our junior officer has been trying hard for a while now.  Ben is now getting some good casts in around the 280 yrd mark.  In the recent Jersey open Ben put down a good cast and this left him in the runners up position.  WELL DONE BEN, KEEP TRYING HARD.

7-9-2006.  Have been talking to Ben recently and he is getting close to Dens record cast, Ben is now up to 281 yrds.  Will he be casting for his country soon, if he keeps casting like that he soon will be.

Congratulations must go to Dennis and Ben as both of them have been selected for the England B casting Team in September 2007 in France.  WELL DONE TO BOTH OF YOU.

News back from Dennis and Ben.  The England A team finished in 2nd place in France and the B team came in at 5th spot, this is still a good result for both of them.  Ben had also had a good result recently when casting in the UKSF final he made it to 2nd spot over all, a superb achievement to have done.  Dennis had also done well at this event winning the best senior caster (I hope I got that correct )

More good news on Ben he recently took part in the UKSF final at Huntington and came home with a second place under his belt.  WELL DONE AGAIN.

News from Ben that Dennis casting record has been broken.  At an event recently Ben has put his lead 293 yards !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
